Gary Brecka Talks About Echo Hydrogen Water on Diary of a CEO Podcast

All right, pop quiz. Don’t worry. It won’t count towards any kind of grade:

What does comedian Seth Rogen, rapper Busta Rhymes, and Echo Hydrogen Water all have in common? They have all been featured in the Diary of a CEO podcast.

This show is hosted by Steven Bartlett, and it is MASSIVE. It has over six million subscribers on YouTube. According to Billboard, it was the ninth most popular podcast on Spotify in 2023.

In April, Gary Brecka, founder of the 10X Health System and host of The Ultimate Human podcast was on Bartlett’s show, where they talked about how you can improve your health. Among the topics was the importance of hydrogen water and how the Echo Go+ can help you.

What Gary Brecka Had To Say About Echo Hydrogen Water

While Brecka and Bartlett were having a conversation, Brecka took a swig from a unique-looking water bottle.

“Um, bit of a tangent,” said Bartlett. “But I just saw you have a gulp of that water. What is in that water.”

“Hydrogen water,” Brecka replied.

Brecka was holding an Echo Go+, which uses a system of electrolysis to add hydrogen in the water. He handed it over to the host to get a better view of it.

“I am so convinced that hydrogen water is the best water that you can put in the human body,” said Brecka.

Health Benefits of Hydrogen

Brecka talked about a great resource that we at Echo Hydrogen Water created called hydrogenstudies.com. It is a database comprised of more than 1300 studies about the effects of hydrogen gas on your body.

We have arranged the studies in a way that you can search based on outcomes, different aspects of health, whether the research was done on humans or animals, the dates the studies came out, and so much more.

Based on the information you can find on that database, Brecka listed some of the health benefits that hydrogen has on the body:

  • Reduces inflammation
  • Improves the absorption of supplements
  • Improves athletic performance
  • Reducess muscle soreness
  • Reduces neural inflammation.

“There are so many clinical trials proving the efficacy of hydrogen gas in the body,” he said.

Why Hydrogen Gas Has So Many Health Benefits

In your body, there are certain types of molecules called free radicals, which can wreak havoc on your cells. They will tear down the structure, and if there’s nothing in their way, they will cause a condition called oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is linked to a lot of different health problems, and it is often pointed at as the reason our bodies deteriorate with age.

Hydrogen acts as an antioxidant, which is a type of molecule that can neutralize a free radical. It also is a signaling molecule that will help your body create more antioxidants. And on top of that, hydrogen is selective in its approach. It only goes after the free radicals that can harm your body. There are others that are beneficial, and hydrogen will leave those ones alone.

Gary Brecka’s Advice For a Healthy Lifestyle

If you’ve ever seen a podcast with Gary Brecka, he has an anecdote he likes to tell because it paints a baffling picture about our lives.

He’ll often talk to business leaders and ask them about various details of their companies. They will easily answer questions like, “How much does your business earn on a monthly basis?” “What’s your net income?” and “How many employees do you have?” But then when you start asking about their own health — such as their hemoglobin A1C, testosterone levels, triglycerides, etc. — they don’t know the answers.

“We have more data on our businesses than we do on our temple,” said Brecka.

Bartlett asked him about the main things that we can track that would be beneficial to our health. Brecka replied that there are three main things:

  1. Glycemic profile - A check of how well your insulin and sugar metabolism are doing. There are three basic markers within it: glucose, hemoglobin A1C, and insulin.
  2. Hormone panel - Specifically, you should look at the main contributors to a healthy hormone production, which are DHEA and a protein called SHBG.
  3. Basic nutrient deficiencies - Vitamin D3, magnesium, potassium, and vitamin B12. These are on most blood panels.

While he didn’t really talk about this in relation to hydrogen water, we know from reading through a variety of studies that it can help you with some of these issues. That’s especially true of the glycemic profile. Several studies have shown that it can address metabolic issues.

We encourage you to take a look at your numbers before you make it a habit of drinking hydrogen water every day. Then after a few months, you should look at the numbers again. You’ll likely find that at least some of them got better.

Why The Echo Go+ Is The Way To Go

One question that Steven Bartlett had was about whether or not the gas would just escape from the Echo Go+ while it was creating the hydrogen water. To this, Gary Brecka pointed out that the bottle’s design prevents that from happening.

When the bottle is creating hydrogen water, it is sealed by a screw-on lid. This builds pressure in the bottle so the gas stays in, and that is partly how it’s able to create a high amount of hydrogen.

“I take it literally everywhere I go,” said Brecka. “I notice when I don’t have it.”

Another great thing about the Echo Go+ is that it was designed with portability in mind. It’s lightweight and small enough to fit cupholders. Some people have told us they’ve been able to take it through security at the airport with no problems.
