Echo Hydrogen Water Featured in Heal Thyself Podcast

Echo Hydrogen water isn’t the only company that sells products that create hydrogen infused water, but we are the best.

And yeah, we know what you’re thinking, “Well, of course they’d say that. They’re not going to tell us to go buy from their competitors.”

But it’s not just us. Echo Hydrogen Water was named as the gold standard in the hydrogen water space in a recent episode of the Heal Thyself podcast.

The show is hosted by Dr. Christian Gonzalez — known as Dr. G — a naturopathic doctor, whose life’s mission is to educate about all of the interconnected factors that go into your health. He invites experts from a variety of backgrounds onto his show to help you make the most informed decisions possible.

What Dr G Had To Say About Echo Hydrogen Water

Dr. G is one of the experts behind online health product website known as The Swell Score. In the podcast, he said that his team did a lot of research into which hydrogen water products are the best.

“If you know me, I’m only behind companies like the Swell Score that recommends products that have been third-party tested,” he said. “And from brands that have been vigorously vetted, so you can buy with confidence.”

He recommends Echo Hydrogen Water machines because of our proprietary technology, which prevents minerals in the water from diminishing the amount of hydrogen within it over time. Plus, our machines have been verified by third party lab tests. By the time he recorded the video, he had been trying the Echo Go+ for a few weeks.

“It’s really something,” he said. “I’m able to get a quick ten ounces at a time of hydrogen water, and this device can produce 4.5 parts per million of hydrogen, which makes it beter than any tablet that you’re using to produce hydrogen water.”

Benefits of Hydrogen Water

Dr. G talked about something something that we at Echo Hydrogen Water are constantly pointing out to people: there have been over 1300 studies that have looked into the benefits of hydrogen gas in our body. Through all that research, we have discovered a whole bunch of health benefits. Here are the ones that he mentioned:

  • Reduced inflammation
  • Improved gut health
  • Enhanced athletic performance
  • Anti-aging benefits
  • Improved skin health

And those are just a few. Others include more efficiency in your body’s energy production, improved cognitive function, and it can even be an effective treatment for certain types of cancer. Again, those are just a few things. Hydrogen has a ton of benefits for various aspects of health. Overall, hydrogen can help you live better longer.

What Does Hydrogen Do Exactly?

If you are new to the hydrogen party, we’ll explain very briefly why it’s so beneficial to your health right here. For a more in-depth explanation, we recommend reading our blog post What Is Hydrogen Water?

Hydrogen is a really effective antioxidant, which is a type of molecule that neutralizes harmful molecules called free radicals. There are some beneficial free radicals, but some of them will tear up the structures of your cells. When there are too many free radicals and not enough antioxidants, your body is put into a state of oxidative stress, which is linked to a lot of diseases, including aging.

Hydrogen selectively neutralizes the harmful free radicals and leaves the ones that are beneficial alone. It also acts as a signalling molecule that enables other antioxidants to be created. Plus, hydrogen is the smallest molecule in the universe, which means it can go anywhere in your body to give you maximum benefits.

Heal Thyself Guest

The part of the podcast that talked about Echo Hydrogen Water was a segment that Dr. G had produced to promote various products. The main part of the episode featured a woman named Lauren Papanos, a registered dietician, who emphasizes how our lifestyle and hormones all interplay in our health.

Her and Dr. G started off the episode talking about a hormonal disorder called polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS. This is where little sacs of fluid called cysts line up along the ovaries. It can cause irregular menstrual cycles and an overproduction of androgens like testosterone.

But there’s a hormone that isn’t tested enough among people with PCOS, according to Papanos.

“I still think that the most important [hormone] is insulin,” she said. “Because 70% of women with PCOS are insulin resistant. I just think that the current recommendation of just improved blood sugar doesn’t help a lot of women. Because when women are insulin resistant, there’s issues with being able to get that blood sugar into the cell.”

She says the answer of why there is insulin resistance can be complicated. It can be because of the gut microbiome, it can be because of androgen disruptors, heavy metal toxicity, and any number of things.

How Hydrogen Water Can Help

While Papanos didn’t talk about hydrogen water on the podcast, the conditions she talked about are areas where it can help.

  • A 2020 study found that hydrogen water may be able to decrease glucose and increase insulin sensitivity.
  • A 2023 study found that it may reduce cysts in PCOS.
  • Another 2023 study found that hydrogen water’s benefits on glucose metabolism may be because of its effects on the gut microbiome.
